~ Best for construction materials engineers and Geotechnical Engineers and PE takers.

~ Book/DVD’s worth way much more than five star or my words.

~ Soil Mechanics and Foundation Design: 201 Solved Problems by the same author is also great buy for PE Exam.

You’re taking the PE Exam? But you have a degree, right? And presumably the experience necessary to sit for the exam? Save yourself $175 and steer clear. The Civil Engineering Reference Manual will provide all you need for the morning, and afternoon Geotechnical portions.

Oh, you’re taking a Geotechnical licensing exam? In that case, you should already have mastered any material contained in this reference.

Make sure this DVD review book is refundable before you buy. Otherwise, you may end up with something you wish not.
